“From East to West” is the name of Amir’s solo show where he exposes his facet as a multi-instrumentalist. The concept is to play various instruments from different countries and through a musical journey achieve a fine blend between cultures and make them become closer to each another. He will be interpreting traditional tunes as well as his own compositions moving elegantly between an electrical and acoustical sound based on a very musical and personal vision. To create a certain cultural and geographical order he uses the following instruments:

-Electric Arabic oud

-Electric Turkish saz

-Greek bouzouki

-Flamenco guitar

-Electric guitar

Amir will be surrounded on stage by his instruments in a very original set-up and enchants the audience with his innovative, vivid and deep musicality without loosing the rules of tradition. His music is very easy to perceive due to clear and well structured melodies which lead the listener through different musical landscapes. As soon as he “goes electric” Amir will use effect pedals to record loops and play musical lines on top of them with the result of having more than one layer sounding at the same time.

But the proposal goes further!

It consists of opening up a new path where Amir gives the possibility to share the stage with other musicians and artists of the respective countries. The aim is to offer the audience to be part of a unique musical and cultural interaction. Further it is a pleasure to offer workshops for musicians and people who love music with the idea to let them have an approach to all these various and interesting instruments.

All in all we can say that you’re in front of an “exceptional concert” where the audience is the true reason of the real existence of a musician!
